Karma is Real

 

It's not supposed to work this way.

 

I've always been dead set against doing free work for people but for some reason the universe told me to create this Glimpse product and do them pro bono.

 

You see, when the animation world shit the bed I decided to re-enter the stratosphere of the book publishing industry. So as my calling card and a way of getting to know people I simply reached out to authors/pubs and offered to make a trailer for their upcoming book.

I've gotta say it's opened so many doors for me that I'm flabbergasted. I got an agent, have done work for the biggest publishing house in the world, have landed my own book deals, have several more proposals being considered, has led to a slate of doing Glimpses with a real budget, and I've made some genuine friends in the process. 

 

Do I advise doing this? It's up to you but like I said, this shouldn't work. You could be taken advantage of, but I have a good internal bullshit detector so proceed with caution. I love books and I did what I had to to get the ball rolling.
